An overview of the SNT Group booth at World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, highlighting the company’s integrated portfolio of land systems, powertrain technologies, and small arms solutions. At WDS 2026, the two companies are highlighting cooperation models centered on defense technology partnerships, localization, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and integrated product support (IPS)—key priorities for regional customers pursuing long-term operational sustainability.
Aligning with the Saudi General Authority for Military Industries’ (GAMI) policy to localize 50% of military equipment service spending, SNT Group plans to expand its regional footprint by leveraging SNT GULF, its overseas subsidiary established in Dammam in 2012. The facility is positioned as a forward base for production and maintenance across the Middle East and Africa.

SNT Dynamics is showcasing a range of heavy and medium-caliber systems, including:
A domestically developed powerpack for the K2 main battle tank, A 120mm mortar system mounted on a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), and The 12.7mm K6 heavy machine gun.
The K2 powerpack combines a 1,700-horsepower automatic transmission—featuring a world-first configuration of six forward and three reverse gears—with a 1,500-horsepower domestic engine. The system has proven its reliability through thousands of kilometers of desert endurance testing on Türkiye’s Altay main battle tank, underscoring its export competitiveness for Middle Eastern environments. The transmission is already being exported for the Altay program and is scheduled to enter large-scale domestic and international deliveries starting next year, with additional export efforts underway for Poland and other NATO countries.
The MPV-mounted 120mm mortar system enhances mobility by integrating a proven ROK Army mortar onto a wheeled tactical platform, enabling rapid maneuver and deployment in sandy and desert terrain—an attribute that has drawn strong interest from regional military officials.
Less Lethal revolver and ammunition
SNT Motiv is presenting its Less Lethal revolver and ammunition, recently contracted for supply to the Korean National Police Agency. The 9mm revolver is designed to replace legacy .38-caliber systems and can fire low-risk rounds, standard ammunition, and blanks. The company’s proprietary low-risk round features a plastic projectile optimized for muzzle velocity, reducing physical impact to roughly one-tenth that of standard ammunition while maintaining incapacitation capability. Following successful testing and certification last year, deliveries to the police are set to begin this year.
The company is also displaying: K4 40mm high-velocity grenade machine gun maintenance toolkits, The STSM21 9mm submachine gun, known for its lightweight 2.7 kg design and compact form factor, The K16D 7.62mm machine gun, adapted for vehicle-mounted and dismounted roles and compatible with Saudi-operated pickup trucks and JLTVs, and A full lineup of modern small arms, including the K13 special operations submachine gun, K13A1 export rifle, the K15 machine gun series, semi-automatic sniper rifles, and anti-materiel rifles.
“With Middle Eastern nations accelerating military modernization, the region’s defense market is growing rapidly in both scale and strategic importance,” an SNT official said. “Our goal is to move beyond simple product exports toward technology-partnership-based models that directly address regional needs through localization, sustainment, and long-term industrial cooperation.”
Through its joint presence at WDS 2026, SNT Dynamics and SNT Motiv are positioning themselves as comprehensive partners for Middle Eastern defense forces seeking capability, resilience, and local industrial growth.
